FAQ

What is Saturday Morning Solutions?

Essentially, I want to make your weekdays feel as easy as a Saturday morning. Imagine you come in to work, and the only parts of your job you need to focus on are the parts you enjoy. You turn on some classic cartoons or a great playlist and ease into your day. Whatever it takes, I want to get you there.

Starting this seems like more work, how do I carve out time?

I get it, making time for improvement can feel overwhelming! That’s why I’ll meet you where you’re at and take on the heavy lifting. Whether you have 5 minutes for a quick chat or more time for a deeper dive, I’ll adjust to your pace and keep the focus on the final outcome: giving you more free time and less stress in the long run.

Can we meet in person? Over the phone? Virtually?

Yes. I will happily meet you where you feel comfortable. I operate out of Bellingham, WA and can meet you anywhere in Whatcom County. If you are out of that range, we can work over the phone or video, whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Do I have to go through this whole process if I already know what I need?

I love that you already have ideas! It never hurts to get a second pair of eyes on a problem. You and I will ensure your plan is solid and that you're getting the best possible solution.

What are your qualifications?

You can learn more about my background and qualifications on my about page. I bring years of experience in software development, business automation, and consulting, with a focus on streamlining operations for small businesses. I learned all of these skills working for large corporations and left that world behind to bring you the ease of life you deserve.

What's your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?

Easy. Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Are you trying to eliminate jobs?

Not at all. My ideal client is a small business owner—maybe they’re a solopreneur like me, or they oversee a small team. Solopreneurs typically aren’t looking to add a payrolled employee for repetitive tasks, and CEOs often take on these tasks themselves to save money.

I’ve seen my family and friends working late into the night on this kind of mundanity, and my goal is to free up time for joy—not to take away someone’s livelihood. That doesn’t align with my ethics. If I ever feel my work could lead to job loss, I will always have an open and honest conversation with my client.

If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to bring them to my attention. This is an important issue in our rapidly evolving technical era.

How do you use AI?

Yeah, hot button. My peers and I talk all the time about the efficacy, ethics, and best uses of all kinds of tools. But I’m guessing what you really want to know is: Do I use AI to replace human labor?

The answer is no. The only human labor AI has replaced around here is the emotional burden of my friends having to give me constant pep talks—shoutout to ChatGPT for handling that one. 😉

Right now, the only AI tool I actively use is ChatGPT, and I mostly treat it like a super-charged search engine. I’ll ask it for digital tool recommendations, detailed product comparisons, or help sorting through niche problems.

But when it comes to the creative work—writing, design, problem-solving—that’s what I’m here for. I like creating. That’s why I started this business. I’m not outsourcing the fun part to a robot.
